Jeans

I LIVE, in jeans, wear it for the school runs, shopping, weekends and even for those rare nights out. It's one of the most versatile items of clothing you have in your wardrobe, it's definitely an essential for me. It is also an item of clothing that needs to be tried on first before buying, the fit is the most important thing.

Before shopping, figure out what type of style you want and colour. It's also good to know what shape suits you too, so try a few on. If you don't know where to begin, try Topshop jeans first, not only do they do different styles, they do petite and tall ranges too.

Personally, I prefer straight legs, skinny and the girlfriend or mom jeans, as they suit me and my style. Below are a few looks from my top four favourable jeans styles (All images from Pinterest):

SKINNY JEANS - Tight fit all over, even the calf.

MOM JEANS - These are high waisted jeans, has tapered legs and a relaxed feel about them.

STRAIGHT LEG JEANS - Basically has a straight leg and looser around the calf.

BOYFRIEND JEANS - A very casual style with a loose fit and comfort.

There are other styles out there you could try too, like the cropped flare, low-rise and distressed to name a few. Here are a few from the high street:

1. Next Boy Fit relaxed jeans £26 (I have these in Petite as I wanted a shorter length and I love them)
2. Topshop MOTO Black Jamie jeans £40
3. H&M Slim high ankle jeans £19.99
4. Topshop MOTO Dark blue raw hem straight leg jeans £40
5. Topshop MOTO Bleached ripped Mom jeans £42

Remember, no matter what style of jeans you have, they can all be dressed up or down. It's always worth investing in a quality pair and maybe buying a couple of your favourite styles just in case. Happy jeans shopping!
