Ankle Boots

All images from Pinterest

Ankle boots are a great transitional piece as well as an everyday footwear for Autumn/Winter. It's definitely a wardrobe essential and one that will stay in fashion season after season. Finding the right pair is a different story, you end up having so many requirements just in one pair of boots. I need the perfect heel height, the toe shape needs to be right and then there's the price and colour! Around this time all retailers have their version of ankle boots, but where do you even start? I've broken it down into groups and picked out my favourites.

First up is your everyday flat boots, practical but will go with everything. These will look nice with floaty dresses which will toughen up the look but can also be worn with pleated skirts or jeans.

Second is the slight heel. I'm not a big fan of heels but love a heel height under 5cm, it's my kind of heel. Good for day or evening.

Thirdly, the fashion boots, coloured/patterned or very high heels. These boots are the ones that will make your outfit stand out, it will draw attention to your feet and look good on.

Check my shop page to see which ones I bought recently, looks like I will need another pair too! Happy shopping as always!

Marks and Spencer

I have never been a big shopper in Marks and Spencers, apart from the underwear department and food department obviously, but over the years it has grown on me. A place where my mum shops ALL the time, it has now become a place where I buy clothes too.

From the 14th September till 18th September Sparks card holders get 20% off clothing, beauty, home and furniture (excludes some items, check in store). Usually, I wouldn't bother looking but after my recent purchase of this cardigan in cream, I skimmed through the site and saw lots of lovely things, so I wanted to share some of the items I came across. All casual looks, all wearable and all which can be worn several times.

The first outfit is simple with a pop of colour and a fun shopper bag. The top looks lovely on the model, which could easily be dressed up with statement earrings or layered necklaces.

Top, Jeans, Bag, Shoes

The second outfit is my kind of outfit, it looks effortlessly stylish! I bought this velvet skirt in black last year and love it. This year they have it in the below navy colour and this season's yellow colour too which is equally beautiful.

Top, Skirt, Bag, Trainers

The final look can easily be worn during the day and evening. Just add gold hoops and add red lipstick!

Top, Jeans, Bag, Boots

Tried on the two tops mentioned above including the white top on the left

Coat

Happy Shopping and remember to stick to items you can wear on multiple occasions.

Topshop Buys

As you probably know from my last post on Topshop, I LOVE the store! So I thought I'd do a post on all things Topshop and put together some new season outfits.

Topshop is definitely my go to place for Jeans as well as accessories such as shoes, bags and jewellery. For me, Topshop Jeans have lasted longer than my other jeans, but hurry the best ones usually tend to sell out quickly, so you have to be quick. I love the below dark wash and black jeans, think they will look fab for winter teamed up with some bright colours or chunky knits. (I've actually purchased the dark wash blue jeans as this is a colour missing in my wardrobe)

Left: MOTO washed black mom jeans
Right: MOTO Dark Blue Straight Leg Jeans or try these which are similar

Everyday wardrobe picks:

Top left to right: top, blouse, trousers, bag, jeans
Bottom left to right: dress, hoodie, trousers, t-shirt, shoes

Outfit picks:

Jumper, Earrings, Skirt, Trainers

Dress, Jacket, Boots, Bag

Dress, Blazer, Boots, Bag

Hope you liked my Topshop Edit, happy shopping!

Stradivarius

We all love the Spanish for bringing us Zara and other Spanish brands, Stradivarius being one, which is the sister brand of Zara. I tend to shop in the same high street stores so haven't shopped in Stradivarius before. But when Stradivarius approached me to collaborate with them, I skimmed through their site and fell in love with many things, which ended in a long wish list! So I was definitely up for collaborating with a brand that sells basics to fashionable items at a reasonable high street price.

If you're not quite Winter ready yet, last week Stradivarius launched a new Winter campaign, gorgeous pieces at reasonable high street prices. Below are few of my favourite looks from the campaign.

Left: coat, shirt, skirt, boots
Top right: Dress, jeans, boots
Bottom right: Coat (Note: Some items have not come into stock yet)

And here are a few everyday essentials that are also worth a look at. The striped jumper tucked into the bottom mom jeans is a perfect day look, or try the yellow shirt with the jeans for an evening out.

Top left to right: Coat, Denim Jacket, Blazer, Cardigan
Bottom left to right: Striped Jumper, Red Jumper, shirt, t-shirt

Left to right: Culottes, Trousers, Mom jeans

Happy shopping!
