Pastels

If you saw my Spring/Summer trends post, you would know pastels will be everywhere in stores this season. If you're not into the bright colour trend, the soft pastel colours will be a better option for adding some colour this Spring.

I have had this Champagne pink coloured skirt for years, I take it out every year as it goes with everything. In this photo, I have teamed it up with a lilac jumper and white boots as I wanted to keep it tonal. Jumper (New), Skirt (old) Similar here or here, Shoes (old) Similar here or here.

Whether you go top to toe pastel or not, here are a few looks you can create, sometimes just adding one or two colours will make a huge difference:

Look 1, I've added a pink blazer over boyfriend jeans to make a casual outfit stand out.

Blazer, Jeans, Bag, Shoes, T-Shirt

Look 2, white is also a pastel colour, don't be afraid of wearing an all-white dress or jumpsuit, add a black biker jacket or dark accessories to break down the outfit.

Dress, Shoes, Earrings

Look 3, suits are great, mix and match them, wear them during the day with trainers or evening with heels. It's smart, sexy and so chic.

Blazer, Trousers, T-shirt, Trainers

Look 4, if you're not into pastel colours, accessories will do the job. If there is one colour to invest in this season, it's lilac! Or you could just buy a multicoloured bag and wear with everything!

Trousers, T-shirt, Bag, Trainers

Some other favourites from the high street:

Jumper, Trainers, Shoes, Dress
Jumper, skirt, Bag, Dress

Happy Shopping!
