Prints

Print, you either love it or shy away, but prints don't have to be loud and in your face. One print I'm not a huge fan of is the floral print, saying this there is always a floral print out there for everyone. The great thing about wearing prints is that you don't need to accessorise much and you can always layer up parts of the outfit if you feel a bit out there?! Whether it's floral, animal, tropical or fruit prints, below are a few street style inspirations to get you in the mood (all images are from Pinterest).

I love the idea of clashing two different prints together, we all know how well stripes and leopard print go, how about mixing it up with other prints? Or feel brave and wear top to toe in print.

This is how I would dress prints, mainly teamed up with my wardrobe essentials (white tee, biker jacket, denim shirt, jeans and trainers) or I would wear a very subtle print similar to Lucy Williams dress on the bottom right photo (major style crush).

So what is on the high street?

If you're looking for a skirt, I love the below ones. I would team it up with a basic t-shirt and white trainers.

Printed tops can be paired with jeans or plain bottoms. If you're feeling daring team it up with another pattern. I've heard tropical shirts, also known as 'dad shirts' are big this summer.

Dresses are great as you can layer with jumpers and jackets and wear dressed up or down. This dress is perfect for holidays, pair with sandals or trainers. It will also look great with a biker jacket and ankle boots.

Finally, playsuits and shorts, love this River Island playsuit. It's not loud and yes it's stripes, but still a print in my eyes :)
